Meet Fuego Mundo’s owners, Masha Hleap-Hershkovitz & Udi Hershkovitz.
I was born in Colombia, South American and grew up in Sandy Springs since 3rd grade. I was the first Latina student at Heards Ferry Elementary School in the Riverside area. Back then that was almost cow country.
My husband and I opened FuegoMundo, meaning a world of fire, 2 years ago in the newly redeveloped centrally located Prado Center in Sandy Springs. We’re the first of its kind restaurant in the entire USA. FuegoMundo is an authentic and healthy taste of South American cuisine, an ideal place for meat lovers and vegetarians wanting to enjoy good foods and good times. All our foods are delicious, natural, authentic, dairy-free and kosher, and over 95% of the menu is naturally gluten-free. We support the arts and culture of South America with trivia, an art wall, and beers and wines from the regions of South America, Central American and Spain.
We have a separate lunch and dinner menu that you can check out online: www.fuegomundo.com.
